The event culminates with a 6 p.m. crawfish boil and live and silent auctions featuring sports experiences, outings and memorabilia from pro and college teams. The four-person golf scramble has morning (8 a.m.) and afternoon (1 p.m.) tee times with polo shirts, a game day coaches' hat and tee gifts for each player along with food stations on the course and a lunch bridging the two flights.
NSU assistant head coach Brad Laird coordinates the event and can be reached at 318-357-4113 or by e-mail at lairdb@nsula.edu for more information, along with football secretary Elizabeth Holloway at 318-357-5252.
Registration for the 8 a.m. flight begins an hour earlier with breakfast. Registration starts at noon with lunch for the 1 o'clock afternoon flight.
Admission to the crawfish boil and auction is $50, which is included in the golf entry fee of $250 per player or $1,000 for a four-person team. Hole sponsorships are available at $100. One ton of crawfish is being brought up from south Louisiana for the event.
