Clay shooting event is set for next Saturday

Northwestern State University’s Department of Radiologic Sciences will host a clay shooting event at Los Paloma Sporting Range Events Center in Benton on Nov. 9.  Proceeds from the event will go towards the NSU Radiologic Sciences Scholarship Fund.

The entry fee for individuals is $100 per person and participants can register as individuals or as part of a four-person team.  Sponsorships are also available at the $200, $500 and $1,000 levels with corresponding levels of advertisement and amenities at the event.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the shoot starting at 10 a.m.  Lunch will be served for all shooters at noon.  First, second and third place teams will be recognized.  Participants should bring their own 12 or 20 gauge shot guns, at least 125 shells (7.5 shot or smaller) and ear and eye protection.
