The donations come from multiple offices and the lobby of the bank’s Royal Street loan department, a space that is being converted into a new call center. Once renovations are complete, the upper floor on Royal Street will house the bank’s community outreach development specialist, commercial lenders, a loan assistant, the lock box department and a training center.
Donated items include seven executive desks and chairs, 14 customer chairs, cherry wood filing cabinets, a glass cherry wood credenza, two-drawer filing cabinets, bookshelves, a computer desk, mini blinds, fax machines, calculators, laser jet printers, ink cartridges, lamps and wall paintings.
“MidSouth Bank is not only reinvesting in the Natchitoches market by adding a new call center, but we are also repurposing our existing resources in a way that benefits the community as a whole,” LaCarsha Babers, the bank’s community outreach development specialist, said. “These donations recognize the valuable services incredible organizations like these provide to our customers and potential customers every day.”
