NSU students make presentations about hospitality, tourism and recreation

Northwestern State University students in Dr. Lynn Woods’ Hospitality Management and Tourism 1000-Intro to Hospitality class dressed in costume to make class presentations on topics related to hospitality, tourism and recreation.  Students researched people and places related to the travel/tourism industry and developed PowerPoint presentations to illustrate their findings.  From left are Jared Henderson, Amsterdam;  Keelie Ameson, Conrad Hilton/Hilton Hotels;  Brooke Evans, Marie Therese Coin-Coin/Melrose Plantation;  Darien Cline, Carnival Cruise Lines; Joshua Kezerle, Marriot Company and Morgan Byrd, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Other topics covered were Escada House of Fashion, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Cedar Point, Bora Bora, Mardi Gras World and Silver Dollar City.
