Visits to Winnfield, Baton Rouge and Lafayette beginning Monday kick off the 2012 Northwestern State Victory Tour featuring football coach Bradley Dale Peveto and other NSU coaches previewing upcoming seasons and greeting supporters over the next two weeks.

A festive and family-friendly environment will be featured on the Victory Tour as Northwestern coaches, student-athletes, administrators and cheerleaders visit Winnfield, Shreveport-Bossier, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Alexandria-Pineville, Many, Coushatta and Natchitoches.

Tuesday evening, the tour will stop in Baton Rouge at the Crowne Plaza on 4728 Constitution Avenue beginning at 6:30. The event will offer complimentary drinks and a light meal and updates from Demon coaches. It's held in conjunction with the annual Louisiana High School Coaches Association Clinics, with all high school coaches, especially those who are NSU alumni, encouraged to attend.

An evening later, on Wednesday, the Victory Tour stop in Lafayette will be hosted by Walk-On’s at 2336 Kaliste Saloom beginning at 6. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

Week two of the Victory Tour will begin in Alexandria at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at Veronas Italian Restaurant (3805 Halsey Street). NSU cheerleaders, coaches, staff and administrators will attend and guests will enjoy complimentary food.

A night later, the Tour Stop is in Many on Wednesday, July 25 at Peoples State Bank downtown at 880 San Antonio Avenue. The 6 p.m. event will feature a kids’ carnival atmosphere with NSU cheerleaders and Vic the Demon. Food and refreshments will be provided at no charge.

In Shreveport-Bossier, the exclusive Superior Steakhouse on Line Avenue is the new site for the Victory Tour stop at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 26. There will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres for Tour guests.

Wrapping up the two-week stretch of events, the Coushatta tour stop will be held Friday, July 27 around the pool at the residence of Pat and Donald Horton at 808 Bogan Lane. An excellent spread of food and drinks will be provided.

The Victory Tour finale at Turpin Stadium on the NSU campus in Natchitoches on Aug. 22 will precede the Demons' final preseason scrimmage and will also serve as the season ticket pickup event. The NSU Alumni Association will provide food and drinks in the Stroud Room with the top 25 available seat locations for season tickets displayed at the scrimmage, which will kick at 6.
