After winning a first-round online voting contest overwhelmingly, Northwestern State senior guard Brison White faces a tough test in Round 2 of the 2014 "State Farm Dark Horse Dunker" in voting online through Facebook.

Voting in Round 2 began at noon Monday. It will continue through March 3, at noon.

White is the shortest contestant, by four inches, in the field. An explosive 5-10 leaper whose slam dunks have delighted Demon fans and left others gasping in amazement, he received the second-most votes of any of the 16 first-round contestants and outpolled his first-round opponent, 6-5 forward Will Giddings of Southwest Minnesota, by 72-28 percent.

His Round 2 foe, Justin Simmons of Nebraska-Omaha, was the third-leading vote-getter in Round 1.

The champion "Dark Horse Dunker" will be crowned March 17, to compete at the Final Four in Dallas on April 3.
