Fishing for Beginners will be presented on June 4-8 and will teach casting skills, bait selection and lure selection. There will be three sections, one each for different age groups. The class for 11-12 year olds will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The section for 13-18 year olds is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and those 19 and up can take the class from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Fly Fishing Lessons will be offered on June 18-22 and will teach students about casting a fly rod for warm and cold water fishing, equipment used and fly selection for warm and cold water fishing. Students will also have a better understanding of fish senses and their environment upon completion of the class. There will be three sections, one each for different age groups. The class for 11-12 year olds will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The section for 13-18 year olds is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and those 19 and up can take the class from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Beginning Fly Tying will be offered on July 9 – 13 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The course will teach techniques and how to use different fly tying tools. Students will learn how to tie different fly patterns for warm and cold water fishing. Ages 11 through adult can take this course. The students will be grouped according to ability. The fee is $125 plus a $30 material fee.
