Faculty and staff at Northwestern State University’s Leesville-Fort Polk campus recently raised $1,000 to assist wounded soldiers and their families during the holiday season. Joyce Barnes, nursing advisor at NSU Leesville-Fort Polk (left) made the presentation to Maj. Logan Fileccia, commander of the Warrior Transition Unit at Fort Polk.
