Northwestern State University honored the late Tom Murchison with the President’s Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his service to the university and to the Natchitoches community. Murchison’s family accepted the award during the Nov. 10 football game in Turpin Stadium. NSU President Dr. Randall J.
