Title: Media Development Specialist

Years at NSU: First year

Brief Job Description: Technology research and development for faculty, as well as faculty technology education and assistance. I conduct workshops on the latest technology and tools that faculty can use to enhance their online courses. I also create multiple graphic design and video advertisements for eNSU and the Electronic and Continuing Education department, along with occasional brochures and layout design.

Why I Like Working at NSU: NSU is a fun and exciting workplace, filled with people passionate about the continuing education of students and faculty alike. We work diligently to find new and exciting things to teach our faculty, and I never know what we will be learning next. I also enjoy helping to keep NSU at the forefront of education technology, as well as improving the quality of the learning environment for all parties.

March 30 –Softball vs. McNeese State, Lady Demon Diamond, 1 p.m.

March 31 – NSU Horn Choir, Magale Recital Hall, 7:30 p.m.

April 1 – Teacher Job Fair, Friedman Student Union Ballroom, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

April 1 – Spring/Summer Job Fair, Friedman Student Union. 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 1 — Baseball vs. Grambling Brown-Stroud Field, 6 p.m.

April 2 –Softball vs. Southern, Lady Demon Diamond, 4 p.m.

April 2-5 – Northwestern Theatre and Dance performs “Steel Magnolias,” Treen Auditorium, Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts, 7:30 p.m.

April 4 – Baseball vs. Nicholls, Brown-Stroud Field, 6:30 p.m.

April 4 – President’s Command Performance reception and silent auction, Alumni Plaza, Hanchey Art Gallery, 6 p.m.
