The St. Denis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) met with the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Nov. 17. The program was presented by Truman Maynard, an SAR member and supporter of the Veterans and Memorial Park. He told a story about one of his ancestors who assisted George Washington in the Revolutionary War and gave a report on the status of the Veterans Park.
