Parks Elementary, Jr. High Resource and D.A.R.E. Officer David Dorsey visited Doris Whatley’s class and shared with the students that he is at Parks to protect and serve them. He talked with them about making good vs. bad choices so they won’t get in trouble. The children then went outside and took turns sitting in Officer Dorsey’s patrol car where he allowed them to talk on the loud speaker and turn on the lights! Some students posed with Officer Dorsey, from left are Hon’Esty Newton, James Pier, Lacey Toussaint and Khalil Seymore.
