The Bank of Montgomery (BOM) is partnering with the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) in its “Blessings for Babies” campaign for the month of December. BOM is collecting items to assist young women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Many of the clients of the WRC are young and not in a position to be able to provide many of the necessities for their newborn babies. The downtown, Keyser Ave, and University Parkway branches of BOM have displays where items may be dropped off. Also, items may be dropped off directly at the WRC at 107 North St. Each BOM branch has a list of items that can be donated. Monetary gifts from $5 are also welcome and will go toward larger items such as car seats and strollers. Items may be dropped off at any Bank of Montgomery branch. For further information contact chairperson Chasity Saucier at Bank of Montgomery at 352-3606 or the Women’s Resource Center at 357-8888.
