Parks Elementary, Jr. High Resource and D.A.R.E. Officer David Dorsey visited Doris Whatley’s class and shared with the students that he is at Parks to protect and serve them. He talked with them about making good vs. bad choices so they won’t get in trouble. The children then went outside and took turns sitting in Officer Dorsey’s patrol car where he allowed them to talk on the loud speaker and turn on the lights! The kids at Fay’s Daycare participated in the Trike-a-Thon Monday, March 22 to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital. Coordinator Tina French said the kids were excited to participate in the good cause and the parents were gracious for getting pledges.
