Babin and Holiday were in town April 27 to announce that Chesapeak Energy will be the title sponsor for the La. Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony June 23 at the Natchitoches Events Center. Babin is president of the LSHOF Foundation, Ireland is chairman and Holiday is manager of public affairs for Chesapeak Energy. The museum, in the background, is slated for completion in 2013.
