At approximately noon yesterday, a semi-trailer truck transporting wood chips nearly overturned on Hwy. 1 Bypass near the Natchitoches Ford Lincoln dealership, holding up traffic for approximatley 30 minutes as city police worked with the unnamed driver to reposition the vehicle. The truck had been eastbound before exiting the right-hand side of the road when the driver lost control.
