A crash happened Monday morning on Interstate 49 north of Chopin and was reported to the Natchitoches Communications Center at 9:24 a.m. The vehicle was traveling northbound on I-49, at the milepost 114 Chopin exit, when it had a blowout, struck the bridge barrier, crossed into the median, overturning 3 times before crossing the southbound lane and coming to a rest on the south side of the interstate.  The Ford F-250 was operated by Jeremy Cryer from Kingston, Okla. A rear seat passenger was transported by Natchitoches Parish EMS to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center with what has been described as minor injuries.  Responding to the location was Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police and Natchitoches Parish EMS.
