Northwestern State University’s Student Government Association sponsored a recycling awareness and pledge program Nov. 15 in commemoration of America Recycles Day. The SGA provided recycle bins onsite for those interested in dropping off recyclable materials like newspapers and bottles.  Funding for the program came from the University of Louisiana’s Extreme Clean Makeover Grant, provided through Keep Louisiana Beautiful.
