People’s State Bank contributed to the Cane River Children’ Services to help create a joyful holiday experience for children in care. CRCS provides therapeutic intervention for children who have behavior and emotional problems because of abuse, neglect and dysfunctional family systems. NSU Elementary Lab. presented its Christmas play Dec. 12 in AA Fredericks Auditorium at NSU. The fifth grade class performed “The Leader of the Pack,” a play about Santa and his desire to trade his sleigh for a Harley Motorcycle. Each class performed 2 musical numbers. The production was directed by librarian Lisa Wiggins.
