Natchitoches Magnet School formed two robotics teams to compete in the Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit in September. The Natchitoches Animal Shelter will have a Howl-o-ween Pet Parade and costume contest  Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. There is a $5 registration fee and a form that participants  can  pick up at the animal control office or fill out the day of the event. The animals will compete for first, second and third place in a “canine cutie” competition and for top places in “Ugly Mug” and “Best Dressed” contests. Halloween treats will be provided for the public.
