Pilgrim’s monthly health care meeting was Dec. 12 with guests, Theresa Simonds and Sharon Durham from Doves, Inc. Durham presented a PowerPoint presentation on domestic abuse and those attending received a better understanding of the services provided and signs of abuse. Pilgrim’s presented the guests with toiletry baskets to be used at the center. From left are Nettie Ligon, Pilgrim’s supply supervisor, Durham and Simonds; and Margaret Demery, Pilgrim’s human resources coordinator. Representatives of organization who would like to be a guest at future health care meetings can call Demery at 356-2461 or Michelle Brundige at 356-6307.
