The Natchitoches Central High School JROTC Cadet Battalion’s Cadet Formal Inspection was held April 10.  The cadets scored 588 out of a possible 600 points, classifying them as an Honor Unit With Distinction. The Battalion Commander and her staff were evaluated on their ability to brief the status of their unit and the functional staff areas (personnel, physical security, operations and training, logistics and public affairs).  The companies, platoons, and squads were evaluated/ inspected on drill and ceremony, uniforms, knowledge and color guard.  At the exit briefing the chief evaluator informed the cadets that only one school in the three states he is responsible for scored as high as Natchitoches Central.
