Lakeview’s AFJROTC Cadet Javuntayee Nash participated in an 8-hour career day hosted at Barksdale Air Force Base, called the 3rd Lieutenant Program.  Over 25 different career fields were presented, including aviation, medicine and engineering.  This was part of the AFJROTC Leadership Laboratory Activity  in Bossier City  June 9– 15.

Ed “Skeets” Tuohy (center) made the Newman School in New Orleans into a powerhouse from 1960 to 1975. His teams won three state titles, never failed to win a district crown and went 403-74 in his 15 years at the school.
