The Natchitoches Edge U-13 soccer team fought their way through the first round of the state competitive 3 league soccer playoffs last weekend in Baton Rouge. The team finished in the top two of their group and will be playing in the Louisiana state playoff finals next Sunday in Lake Charles.The team attack was lead in the tournament by Jake Stultz with 4 goals, Carli Raupp and Dylan Price with 1 goal each. Defensively the team was anchored by central defenders Edouard Ferrell and William Fralia. They are only 1 of 2 teams from Natchitoches to play in the state competitive league.  The Edge is the first soccer team from Natchitoches to compete in a state cup final.
