Guests attending the event can tour the WRAC, talk with Trini Triggs and compete in fitness contest such as an obstacle course and 20-yard dash. WRAC staff will offer group exercise demonstrations for zumba, hip/hop and yoga classes and free chair massages. The first 100 participants will receive tickets to the Northwestern State men’s basketball game that tips off at 2 p.m. Saturday.
“At this time of New Year’s resolutions, we thought it would be great to have a fitness resolution as a family,” said Carmel Bourg, WRAC wellness coordinator. “It will be a fun and exciting day not only for the staff working the event but also for the University and Natchitoches community as well.”
