The Louisiana Scholars’ College will hold a reception for Northwestern State University faculty who have assisted the College Friday, March 30, at 1 p.m. in Room 227 of Morrison Hall.

The reception is part of the Scholars’ College’s 25th anniversary celebration and honors faculty who have volunteered their time to serve as readers on thesis projects and deliver guest lectures.

“We want to let the faculty know how much we value their time, expertise and support,” said Scholars’ College Director and Associate Professor of Classics T. Davina McClain. “The thesis process is important to the Scholars’ College. It takes a lot of time and faculty across campus give their time willingly. We want to acknowledge how much we owe to them for their work on thesis projects and for the guest lectures.”
