“At Northwestern State, we promote a sense of family throughout the university community,” said NSU President Dr. Randall J. Webb. “This celebration will bring together our students, staff, alumni and long-time community supporters. It will be a celebration of our connections to NSU.”
Dress is casual for the fish fry and shrimp boil with trimmings and assorted beverages. A live band will perform for music and dancing and a Kids Zone will include games, inflatables and activities.
“There will be a special announcement about Northwestern State that evening as part of the program, which is a celebration of our Northwestern State family,” said Drake Owens, Director of University Advancement. “The entire family is encouraged to attend.”
Tickets are available at the Alumni Center for $30 per person, with children under 12 eating free. Fees are payable to the NSU Foundation by calling Jill Bankston at (318) 357-4241 or e-mailing bankstonj@nsula.edu. Tickets are also available on-line at NorthwesternAlumni.com.
