For over six decades, AITP has championed the human element of the information technology profession and remains focused on providing a community of knowledge, education and resources that will empower its members to reach their true potential as an IT business professional.
“AITP is a means by which we can introduce students to the work world they will be entering upon graduation,” said Barbara Russell, CIS instructor and AITP chapter advisor.
“While we strive to teach as much as is possible in the classroom, getting students to events and conferences is an invaluable component of their education. AITP, locally, regionally and nationally, provides us the structure to allow us to expand our student’s view of the Information Systems arena on all levels.”
