Several local performers will be featured at the Fourth Annual Multicultural Christmas Concert Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Treen Auditorium at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts. Admission is free and the public is invited. Donations for D.O.V.E.S. (Domestic Violence Education and Support) Inc. of Natchitoches will be accepted.

Among those scheduled to perform are the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center Choir, missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shane Rasmussen, Julie DeFord, Genevene DeFord, Natchitoches Central NCHOIR soloists, Destinie Stovall, Hollie Spillman and Makenna Middlebrooks, accompanied by Peggy Fisher on piano. Northwestern State students Alaia Cobb, Alex Zacarias, Sarah Jones, Precious Moore, Renee Bennett and Ryan Golden will also be part of the concert.

The Multicultural Christmas Concert celebrates diversity and the cheer of Christmas. The Louisiana Folklife Center at Northwestern State, the NSU Office of Cultural Diversity and the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts (LSMSA) sponsor the concert.
