Davis won the Louisiana Sports Writers Association state basketball Player of the Week honor, along with being named College Sports Madness’ player of the week among Southland Conference competitors. The Demons rank second nationally with an 85-points per game scoring average, one of seven top 70 NCAA Division I statistical team rankings for NSU.
The 6-foot guard from Shreveport-Huntington hit 8-of-12 shots from the floor, sank 4-of-5 at the free throw line, grabbed five rebounds, made two steals and had an assist as NSU topped Louisiana Tech 89-83.
