‘Explore’ at NSU will offer early start for students

High school underclassmen can get an early start on planning their college education at the annual Explore Northwestern State Day Saturday, Feb. 2. NSU’s Office of University Recruiting sponsors the event. High school juniors, sophomores and freshmen and their families are invited to attend.

Registration gets underway at 9 a.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Explore Northwestern State Day begins at 10 a.m.  A program, “The College Journey: The Right Choice,” starts at 10:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The cost for lunch is $10. NSU academic department heads and faculty will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. to discuss academic programs offered at Northwestern State. Tours of campus tours and university housing will also be held.
