Heath was also named to the Perfect Game 2013 Collegiate Baseball All-America team in late August. According to the magazine, one scout called Heath “as toolsy as they get.”
The Junction City, Kan. native led the league with 34 stolen bases (in 40 attempts) and 33 walks. He hit for an average of .326, 18 runs batted in, 35 runs, seven doubles, and three triples.
