Northwestern State football coach Jay Thomas, many of his staff and other Demon coaches will preview upcoming seasons and greet supporters during the upcoming 2014 NSU Victory Tour, which will include nine stops close to nearly all in-state Demon fans.

A festive and family-friendly environment will be featured on the Victory Tour July 21-Aug. 7 as Northwestern coaches, student-athletes, administrators and cheerleaders visit Winnfield (July 21), Shreveport-Bossier City (July 30), Baton Rouge (July 23), Lafayette (July 24), Alexandria-Pineville (July 28), Many (July 29), Coushatta (July 25), Leesville (July 31) and Natchitoches (Aug. 7).

“This year we hope to capitalize on the momentum the teams have right now, and we're hoping for lots of new faces at our events,” said NSU assistant athletic director for marketing Kyle Barnard, who coordinates the Victory Tour. “We invite all former Demons around the state to unite and come to the Victory Tour as we get excited about the upcoming 2014-15 athletic year.”

All Victory Tour stops are reception-style events that will last approximately two hours, including a brief program midway featuring Thomas and other NSU coaches in attendance. Door prizes will be awarded at each stop, with schedule cards and other promotional materials available.

The Natchitoches Tour Stop is Aug. 7, presented by the NSU Alumni Association at the Collins Family Pavilion, the cornerstone of the Demon Alley tailgating zone just south of Turpin Stadium at 468 Caspari Drive.

For more information on any Victory Tour stop or for details about season tickets, contact Barnard at barnardk@nsula.edu via e-mail or by calling him at 318-357-4278. Complete ticket information is also available at the NSUDemons.com website.
