Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announce President/CEO Tony Davis has resigned effective July 31 to assume management of the Natchitoches Community Alliance Foundation, Inc. (NCA), a 501c3 organization coordinating economic development for Natchitoches Parish.  Davis has served as President of the Chamber since October 2010.

“It has been our pleasure to have Tony [Davis] lead the Chamber since 2010,” says Chairman of the Board, Kirk Soileau, Chief Executive Officer of the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.  “He has led us through many changes and we are excited to have him stay in Natchitoches, to lead the NCA, and continue lending his talents to our parish.”

Soileau notes an aggressive timeline has been put in place to find a replacement and information will be forthcoming on that process.  In the interim, Davis will continue to manage the day-to-day activities of the Chamber.

“The Chamber has been a dream job for me for many years with a new adventure every single day,” Davis said.  “While I will miss it, I know it is time for this transition and I am grateful that my new role will allow me to continue to work closely with the Chamber.  I believe strongly in the potential of my hometown, and with great elected, education and community leaders working together I know we can continue the progress we have started.”
