Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives, divers from the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, Natchitoches Fire Department, Bienville Parish Fire Department and a cadaver dog from Alexandria Fire Department assisted Winn Parish Sheriff’s deputies in the search for Cynthia Orsborn in an area on Saline Creek near the Natchitoches-Winn Parish line off 156.

Agencies were conducting the search as a result of a tip. Orsborn, 23, of Marthaville was reported missing to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office June 13.
During the investigation, detectives learned she was last seen in the Calvin area of Winn Parish.
According to NPSO Chief of Patrols and Rescue Operations Doug Rachal, the operation was unsuccessful. The NPSO will continue to assist Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office in the search.
Sheriff Victor Jones stated, “We will follow-up on every tip called into our office and continue to assist the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office in our investigative efforts to find Cindy. We continue to ask the public if you have any information concerning Cindy to please contact Detective Jonathan Byles with the NPSO at 357-7830 or the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office at 628-4611.
