Vennekotter appointed as VP of organizational development

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center announces the appointment of Debbie Vennekotter as the vice president of organizational development.

Vennekotter will be responsible for the departments/services of human resources, training and development, patient and associate engagement, leadership development and clinical Informatics.

Before joining NRMC full time, Vennekotter served as the organization’s lead Studer Group coach for the past three years while also serving as the Director of Service Excellence for Citizen’s Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Mo.

Prior to CMH, Vennekotter spent 25 years with Cox Health of Springfield Mo., a 745-bed,  $1.9 billion, 7,500 employee organization in various leadership and administrative positions over rehabilitation, fitness, wellness and skilled services.  She began her career with the Department of Defense – United States Army in Heidelberg, Germany, as a clinical advisor for speech pathology and the exceptional family member service.

Vennekotter holds a bachelor’s of science degree in speech pathology and audiology and a master’s of science degree in speech pathology from Phillips University, Enid, Okla., and a master’s of health administration from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Vennekotter has been a CARF surveyor for over 15 years, specialized for the VA Health System and Combined Joint Commission Surveys and also has served as a senior examiner for excellence in the Missouri Foundation for the State Malcolm Baldridge Award program.

She is married to her husband Mike and together they have five sons, all serving as active duty soldiers and officers.
