On Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 1:30 p.m., NPSO patrol deputies stopped an older model Acura on Miley Drive in Campti for a traffic violation.
Deputies identified a passenger in vehicle acting nervously as Willie Earl Marshall, 40, of Campti.
During the traffic stop, deputies obtained permission to search the vehicle and occupants.
A search of Marshall’s person led to the seizure of approximately 1.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Marshall was transported to the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center, booked, and charged with 1-count of Possession of CDS Schedule II Methamphetamine.
Marshall remains in the detention center awaiting bond.
Sgt. C. Dunn and Deputy C. Dranguet made the arrest.
