Parents can sign up youth Saturday, Aug. 19 for tackle football at the MLK Rec Center from 8 a.m.-noon. Registration cost is $75. Children are not considered registered until the fee is paid. Once each team has 30 players, registration for that age group/team is closed.
Posey’s Sports will be fitting for new helmets and shoulder pads both days for a separate cost.
Monday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. will be conditioning for ages 11-12 across from the MLK Recreational building. Tuesday, Aug. 22 and Thursday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. will be conditioning for ages 7-10. Team practices will begin Monday, Aug. 28 and the jamboree will be Saturday, Sept. 9.
