While yesterday was the first day for Natchitoches Parish students, their teachers have been hard at work this Summer! The Natchitoches Times got to get a sneak peak and talk with a few local teachers before the big day.

Stephanie Tucker, first grade teacher at St. Mary’s. “Children grow a lot in the first grade, so I’m very excited to watch them grow this year.”
Michael Landry, high school history teacher at St. Mary’s. “A new school year means a chance to teach a new group of students, which will be a fun challenge.”
Shauna Withers, Science for fifth and sixth grade at St. Mary’s. “Science is now a stand-alone class at St. Mary’s. It’s been taught with math classes, so we’re going to do a lot of fun and exciting science experiments this year!”
