John Elliott Pruitt, 58, of DeRidder passed from this life Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Pruitt of DeRidder; son, John Andrew Pruitt of Lake Charles; daughters, Madelyn Pruitt, Miranda Pruitt, Maigen Pruitt and Sydney Pruitt, all of DeRidder; mother, Jaleama Martin of Merryville; sisters, Joy Chaney of Orange, Texas, and Sherry Doyle of Merryville; and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Goldonna. The Rev. Jude Brunnert officiated.
Pallbearers were Randy Sanchez, Stuart Benoit, John Paul Galloway, Logan Williams, Leigh Pruitt and Liam Heiland.
Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
