My name is Christine Hester. I’m 24 years old and from Martin. I’m married to Clayton Hester and we have one happy little boy, Aaron Hester. We attend Social Springs Baptist Church. I attended Red River High School and graduated in 2011. I then continued my education at Northwestern State University and graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration. I work at Tray Murray State Farm in Coushatta. I’m beyond excited to be a part of the Natchitoches Times as a community writer. I feel this is an amazing opportunity to bring my small community together with important news.

I am Morgan Washington, originally from Blanchard, and I moved to Baton Rouge for two years and have been in Natchitoches for a year and a half. I live here with my sweet boyfriend, Colt, our precious wild child, River, and our second child, Cotton (he’s a Great Pyrenees). I love to paint, draw, play piano and attempt to play my guitar.
My boys and I are always outside. We love to camp, hike, kayak, play at the park and go to the lake. They keep me on my toes and we stay busy. On our lazy days we snuggle, watch movies and stuff our faces with junk food.
