The 16th annual Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival and 18th annual River Run will be held at the Natchitoches Parish Fair Grounds September 15 and 16.
The Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival is sponsored by: Independent Motorcycle Riders of Natchitoches and is free to the public.
During the fun filled day for all there will not only be ‘Fireworks’, Great Music, & the ‘River Run’ Ride around the ‘Scenic Cane River’ but Presentations of Meat Pie Festival Queens, Demonstrations of ‘Meat Pie’ Making, ‘Meat Pie’ Eating Competition, ‘Meat Pie’ Judging, Many Homemade ‘Meat Pie’ vendors among an array of Louisiana Cuisine Vendors, Arts & Crafts, Amusements, Games, Inflatables & Mechanical Rides, and ‘Zombies’ everywhere presented by ‘Dark Woods’ with a surprise presentation! The 16th Annual Meat Pie Festival schedule of events beings on Friday evening.
