Baton Rouge, LA – Today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and development announced that I-10 westbound is now closed at the Texas state line due to flooding. The road closure is between Exit 7 (LA 3063, West Street) and Exit 4 (US 90, Toomey Road) west of Vinton.
The recommended alternate route for large commercial vehicles is I-49 north to I-20 west. Smaller vehicles can use other routes north to I-20 west.
