Due to extreme weather possible as Tropical Storm Harvey impacts Louisiana, Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne is announcing that state offices will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 30, in ACADIA, ALLEN, ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION, BEAUREGARD, CALCASIEU, CAMERON, EVANGELINE, GRANT, IBERIA, IBERVILLE, JEFFERSON DAVIS, LAFAYETTE, LAFOURCHE, LIVINGSTON, NATCHITOCHES, POINTE COUPEE, SABINE, ST. JAMES, ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST, ST. LANDRY, ST. MARTIN, ST. MARY, TERREBONNE, VERMILION, VERNON, WEST BATON ROUGE and WEST FELICIANA parishes.
State government offices will remain open in East Baton Rouge and Orleans parishes.
