Agape Love Center will celebrate Pastor Johnnie F. Davis Sr. and Lady Rosa Davis’ 28th pastoral anniversary Friday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 3 at 9 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. Pastor Davis was ordained as a deacon in February 1985.
Six years later, he received the call to the five-fold ministry. He became the founder and pastor of Agape Love Center Aug. 27, 1989. The ministry has grown to include a child care facility, a credit union, an educational facility, a home for un-wed mothers, a hotel and other projects.
Davis accepted an Honorary Doctorate of Biblical Studies June 9 from The Exodus School of the Bible Sonship of the Firstborn.
