
The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP) 70th Annual Assembly and Exhibition was Aug. 3-6 in New Orleans. Approximately 250 family physicians from Louisiana and various states participated in this continuing medical education conference.
Speakers presented up-to-the-minute information on a broad range of health topics. Subjects to be covered in this four-day session are important to family physicians striving to provide optimum health care for their patients.
Physicians earned up to 20 hours of continuing medical education at the conference. LAFP President, Dr. John Meigs of Alabama, installed the 2017-18 officers including these local physicians:
