The Natchitoches Northwestern Symphony Society hosted its annual wine and cheese reception Wednesday evening to begin the new symphony orchestra season. Patrons enjoyed wine and cheese, received their season tickets and listened to numbers by orchestra members. The party was at the Northwest Louisiana Museum and Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. Rick Hudson is president of the board of the organization that raises money to underwrite scholarships to music students in the symphony orchestra at Northwestern State.
