ASHER REID GARNER
PINE PRAIRIE, LA.

Funeral Services were at a 1p.m., a Mass of Christian Burial, for Baby Asher Reid Garner, 6 months, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie Saturday, Sept. 9, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at Texas Children’s Hospital of Houston surrounded by his loved ones.
Father Kenny Mayne, pastor at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, celebrated the Mass and conducted the funeral services. Burial was in St. Peter’s Church Cemetery in Pine Prairie.
His memories will live on through his family.
Baby Asher is survived by his parents, Cameron Alexander and Alexis Reed Garner; brother, Lawson Alexander Garner; paternal grandparents, Eugean and Delana Garner; maternal grandparents, Brian and Julie Reed; paternal great-grandparents, Willis “Bud” and Louise Garner and Lawrence and Betty Sampey; and maternal great-grandparents, Terry and Lynn Andrus and Teddy and Susanne Reed.
He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Jackie Sampey.
The family request that visitation was observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte Sept. 8, from 5-10 p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Visitation resumed Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers were Caleb Andrus and Gage Whatley. Honorary Pallbearer was Jackson Reed.
