NCHS on the road Friday

By Marco Clark

The Natchitoches Central Chiefs are looking to return to the win column when they go on the road to play the Breaux Bridge Tigers Friday, Sept 29 at 7 p.m. during week five of the football season. They had a disappointing loss to the DeRidder Dragons last week but hope to improve their rushing and passing games. Trey Solitaire was the leading rusher last week with 108 of the Chiefs’ 124 yards on the ground. Quarterback Richard Lindsey had 100 yards passing and Tony Prelow was on the other end for 65 yards receiving. The game against Breaux Bridge will be the last chance for the Chiefs to fine-tune their game before entering district play.
