The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8 am, LA 1226 will be closed 2.5 miles north of its junction with LA 1227. The intent of this closure is to remove a 30 inch corrugated metal pipe and replace with a 30 inch corrugated metal pipe. This closure is expected to last approximately 6 hours.

Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement.
There will not be a detoured route.
School buses will not be disrupted during repairs.
